| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of William "Bill" Board of Peoria, who |
| 4 | | passed away on July 31, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Board was born on January 15, 1945, in |
| 6 | | Hammond, Indiana; his parents were David and Joyce (nee Rasbun) |
| 7 | | Board; he married Sharon (nee Moreland-Hoffman) Board on March |
| 8 | | 18, 1967 in Peoria; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, William Board attended Peoria High School before |
| 10 | | joining the United States Air Force in 1963; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, From a young age, William Board was surrounded by |
| 12 | | cars; he loved street cars and antique cars; turning this love |
| 13 | | of cars into a profession, he opened Board Auto Body in 1972; |
| 14 | | he owned and operated the auto shop until 2001, when he passed |
| 15 | | it on to his sons; he also worked at Randy's Collision until |
| 16 | | 2014; and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, William Board was an active member of Shriners |
| 18 | | International for many years; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, William Board was preceded in death by his mother; |
| 20 | | and
