SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Julian Irving Gollay of Dallas, Texas, 
4formerly of Chicago, who passed away on July 18, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Julian Gollay served in the United States Air 
6Force; he graduated from DePaul University and married Elaine 
7Lee Jacobs on January 29, 1955; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Julian Gollay worked as an independent CPA and was 
9a business owner; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Julian Gollay enjoyed playing tennis and spending 
11time with his family and friends across the country; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Julian Gollay was the beloved husband of Elaine 
13Gollay (nee Jacobs); the father of loving son, Frederick and 
14adoring daughter, Jacqueline (Dick Ryan); the proud 
15grandfather of Rachel and Evan; the brother of Sandra Goldberg 
16(Greg Hines) and Linda (Richard) Sklar; and the brother-in-law 
17of Ellen Meyers; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Julian Irving Gollay, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
