SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Donald E. LeMieux of Fox Lake, who passed 
4away on July 22, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux was born on September 16, 1924 in 
6Marinette, Wisconsin; his parents were Clarence and Celina 
7LeMieux; he married Margaret Oliverius May 30, 1966 at St. 
8Joseph's Church in Racine, Wisconsin; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux and his brother Thomas owned and 
10operated the One Hour Dry Cleaners in Wilmette for many years; 
11he later moved to a new location and opened the Plaza Delago 
12Cleaners, where he spent more than 30 years serving the 
13community; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux was an avid Cubs fan and loved the 
15Green Bay Packers; he also enjoyed gardening and spending time 
16with his family; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux is preceded in death by his 
18parents; a brother, Thomas; a sister-in-law, Patricia; and a 
19grandson, James; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Donald LeMieux is survived by his wife of 49

1years, Margaret; 2 children, James (Jacqueline) Bronson and 
2Margaret Suprak; 4 grandchildren, Margaret (Matthew) Reid, 
3Jennifer (Brent) Beucler, Paula (Peter) Jedlicka, and John 
4Suprak; 6 great-grandchildren, Chloe Jane, Carter James, Kade 
5Jonathan, Kollin Peter, Cole James, and Owen Gray; and 6 nieces 
6and nephews, James, Robert, Susan, Julie, Tom, and Loren; 
7therefore, be it
  
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
10family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald E. LeMieux; and 
11be it further
  
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to the family of Donald LeMieux as an expression of 
14our sympathy.
