SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Arthur F. Schwanke, Jr. of Huntley, who
4passed away on August 1, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. was born on September 15,
61921 in Des Moines, Iowa; his parents were Arthur, Sr. and
7Verna (nee Henderson) Schwanke; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. served his country with pride
9as a member of the United States Army during World War II; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. enjoyed spending his time
11sailing, playing tennis, and golfing; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. was preceded in death by his
13parents; a step-daughter, Amy Foley; and a sister, Martha
14Schauss; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. is survived by the mother of
16his children, Barbara (nee Dreffein) Schwanke; his wife, Janice
17(nee Redmann); his children, Janet (Jim) Hustler, Jo (Michael)
18Lange, Jeri Innis, Jil Schwanke, Steve (Barbara) Schwanke,
19Terri Foley Schneider, Donna (Bob) Watson, and Peggy (Steve)
20Bucklin; his grandchildren, Anthony (Stephanie) Hustler,

1Jeffrey Hustler, Brent (Lora) Lange, Kory (Kelly) Lange, Kacy
2(Chris) Pittman, Kylie (Jordan) Brough, Ali Godesiabois,

4Cameron, Elizabeth (Scott) Gregerson, Julie and Rob Watson, and
5Bridget, Shannon, and Tara Bucklin; his great-grandchildren,
6Elea, Kamryn, Halle, Jordan, Madison, Taylor, Amalie, and Gigi;
7and a brother, Richard Schwanke; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
10family and friends, mourn the passing of Arthur Schwanke, Jr.;
11and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Arthur F. Schwanke, Jr. as an
14expression of our sympathy.
