SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kenneth Patrick Duncan of Bunker Hill, 
4who passed away on August 14, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Duncan was born on January 10, 1942 in 
6Bunker Hill; his parents were Edward Lee and Velva (nee Berge) 
7Duncan; he married Carolyn F. Russell on September 18, 1971 in 
8Bunker Hill; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Kenneth Duncan was employed as a forklift operator 
10for the Box Board and a semi driver for TMJ Trucking and had 
11worked at Rural King; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Kenneth Duncan was a member of Veterans of Foreign 
13Wars Post 3912 of Litchfield; he was a member of the Bunker 
14Hill Fire Department for 45 years, as well as the Wilsonville 
15Fire Department and the Wilsonville Police Department; he also 
16enjoyed camping; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kenneth Duncan was preceded in death by his 
18parents; a grandchild, Renee Marie Duncan; 3 brothers, Gerald 
19Duncan, Don Duncan, and Leo Duncan; a niece, Debbie; and a 
20brother-in-law, Pete Willenborg; and

1    WHEREAS, Kenneth Duncan is survived by his wife, Carolyn; a 
2son, Tim Duncan; a grandchild, Ashley Nicole Duncan; 2 
3siblings, Maurice (Maxine) Duncan and Rose Mary Willenborg; and 
4his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Kenneth Patrick 
8Duncan; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Kenneth Duncan as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
