SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Twylhae Rae Hiatt of Wonder Lake, who
4passed away on August 3, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Twylhae Hiatt was born on October 3, 1960 in
6Harvey; her parents were Willard and Opal (nee Koile) Hiatt;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Twylhae Hiatt graduated from Crystal Lake South
9High School; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Twylhae Hiatt loved animals, especially dogs; she
11knew every dog breed and was excellent at training them; she
12also enjoyed science fiction novels and movies, reading,
13gardening, and tending to her plants; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Twylhae Hiatt worked as a volunteer for a military
15recruiting office because she was very patriotic; she was also
16a very environmentally conscious person; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Twylhae Hiatt was preceded in death by her father;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, Twylhae Hiatt is survived by the love of her life,

1John Duffy; her mother, Opal Hiatt; 3 sisters, Barbara Hiatt,
2Linda (James) Hiatt, and Lynn Hiatt; a brother, Mark Hiatt; a
3half-brother, David Dennison; 6 nieces; 4 nephews; 4
4great-nieces; 4 great-nephews; and many dear friends;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Twylhae Rae Hiatt; and
9be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Twylhae Hiatt as an expression of
12our sympathy.
