SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Philip F. Grande of McHenry, who passed 
4away on August 8, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Philip Grande was born in Chicago on October 12, 
61947 to Dominick A. and Josephine (nee Cecala) Grande; he 
7married Peggy Amato on July 7, 1984 at their home in McHenry; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Philip Grande was a barber most of his life; he  
10was affectionately known as the "Mayor of Main Street", giving 
11his personal knowledge, wisdom, and views to all; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Philip Grande was an avid car enthusiast and 
13enjoyed attending car shows; he loved Disney World and the 
14Chicago Cubs, but foremost he loved his family and friends; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Philip Grande was preceded in death by his 
16parents, Dominick and Josephine Grande; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Philip Grande is survived by his wife, Peggy; his 
18children, Dominick and Michelle Grande, Joe (Dorothy) Cecala, 
19and Ray (Carolyn) Bruno; his brothers, Patrick (Cookie) Grande 
20and Dominick (Gail) Grande; and many nieces and nephews;

1therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Philip F. Grande, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Philip Grande as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
