| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Vernal C. Houlihan; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Vernal Houlihan was the beloved wife of the late |
| 5 | | John J. Houlihan; the loving mother of the late James, Maureen |
| 6 | | (Lloyd) Betourney, Michael, Bill (Cindy), Terry, Patricia, |
| 7 | | Denis (Suki), and Brendan (Bae) Houlihan; the proud grandmother |
| 8 | | of Nicole, Matthew (Casey), Megan, Drue, Mariah (Kevin), John, |
| 9 | | Grant (Christina), Neil, Corinne Vernal, and Aisley; the |
| 10 | | cherished great-grandmother of Riley, James, Chase, Connor, |
| 11 | | and Morgan; the dear sister of Patrick (late Elsie) Devitt and |
| 12 | | late Mary Lou (late David) Berthold; the sister-in-law of the |
| 13 | | late Mary Rene, the late William (Jill), and the late Br. James |
| 14 | | Houlihan; and the kind aunt of many nieces and nephews; |

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her |
| 18 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Vernal C. Houlihan; |
| 19 | | and be it further

| 20 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 | | presented to the family of Vernal Houlihan as an expression of |
| 22 | | our sympathy.
