SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Bernadine Anna Frede of Harvard, who
4passed away on August 18, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bernadine Frede was born on March 14, 1923 in
6Peoria; her parents were Bernard and Gertrude (nee Hauk)
7Stalter; she married William "Bill" Dean Frede on January 22,
81949 in Norfolk, Virginia; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Bernadine Frede was a homemaker; she was a member
10of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Harvard, the Veterans of
11Foreign Wars, and the Police Benevolent Association in Peoria;
12while she lived in Peoria, she often volunteered at her church;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bernadine Frede loved to bowl and continued the
15sport until she was 82 years old; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bernadine Frede was preceded in death by her
17parents; her husband, Bill; and a sister, Edna Stalter; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Bernadine Frede is survived by a daughter, Char
19(Dick) Hauk; 4 grandchildren, Michelle (Shawn) Krutsinger,
20Kelley (Ed) Zhovtis, Carrie (Ryan) Bankel, and Jason (Courtney

1Burman) Hauk; 5 great-grandchildren, Chloe, Jakob, Ellie, Ben,
2and Leo; and a brother, Norbert Stalter; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Bernadine Anna Frede;
6and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Bernadine Frede as an expression of
9our sympathy.
