| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Paul Eugene Kroenlein of Moweaqua, who |
| 4 | | passed away on June 13, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was born on May 19, 1920 in Oconee; |
| 6 | | his parents were George Nicholas and Bertha Della (nee Tabor) |
| 7 | | Kroenlein; he married Marietta Buckley in 1940 in St. Louis, |
| 8 | | Missouri; she preceded him in death in 1963; he later married |
| 9 | | LaVon Robinson-Burgener in 1972; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was a member of the First United |
| 11 | | Methodist Church of Moweaqua, Masonic Lodge 180 A.F. & A.M., |
| 12 | | the Springfield Consistory, and the Ansar Shriners; he was also |
| 13 | | a Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein served as Shelby County Supervisor |
| 15 | | and was a member of the County Board; he also served as a |
| 16 | | member of the Moweaqua Elevator Board and as Penn Township |
| 17 | | Supervisor; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Paul Kroenlein was a farmer and pilot; he was also |
| 19 | | co-owner of FBAC Go-Kart Track and was the first Kawasaki |
| 20 | | dealer in the downstate area; and
