SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Alfred A. "Al" Roth of Prospect Heights; 
4and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alfred Roth served his country as a member of the 
6United States Navy during World War II; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Alfred Roth retired from Thermal Dynamics after 
8many years of service; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alfred Roth was an avid water-skier, aviator, 
10horseman, animal lover, inventor, astronomer, businessman, and 
11captain of his ship; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Alfred Roth was the beloved husband of Vergie and 
13the late Rosemary; the loving father of Pamela (Art) Leimetter, 
14Randy (Maggi) Roth, Laurie (Peter) Donahue, Tom (Amy) Marti, 
15and Liz (Scott) Zydel; the grandfather of Kyle Leimetter, Joe 
16Roth, Caitlyn, Peter, Meghan, and Collen Donahue, and Aidan, 
17Ella, and Emily Marti; the great-grandfather of Jayce and 
18Hunter; and the master of his loving dog, Duke; therefore, be 
19it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Alfred A. "Al" Roth;

6sympathy.
