SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jacqueline "Jackie" K. Wilkin of
4Springfield, who passed away on August 31, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jacqueline Wilkin was born on September 15, 1941
6in St. Louis, Missouri; her parents were John A. and Margaret
7I. (nee Miller) Houston; she married William "Bill" J. Wilkin
8on January 9, 1960 in Springfield; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jacqueline Wilkin was employed by the Springfield
10School District in the Special Education Department for 18
11years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jacqueline Wilkin loved watching hummingbirds,
13spending time outdoors, taking walks, listening to music,
14reading, and spending time with her friends and family; she was
15also proud to be an organ donor and gave one last gift in her
16parting by donating her eyes; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jacqueline Wilkin was preceded in death by her
18husband, William, and her parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Jacqueline Wilkin is survived by her children,
20Patrick "Pat" J. (Debbie) Wilkin, Daniel "Danny" P. (Tee

1Parrish) Wilkin, and Tracy L. (Ted) Galassi; her grandchildren,
2Jesse (Jessica) Wilkin, Jamie (Adam) Baer, and Shay Hauck; her
3great-grandchildren, Hunter and Mason Wilkin and 2 more on the
4way; her sister, Judy (Herb) Sherman; and her many nieces and
5nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Jacqueline "Jackie" K.
9Wilkin; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Jacqueline Wilkin as an expression
12of our sympathy.
