SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Paul Rudzinski, who passed away on August
426, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski was born in Waukegan on May 27,
61926 to William J. Rudzinski and Klevopa Lingus; he attended
7Waukegan schools and served in the United States Army during
8World War II; he took part in the Battle of the Bulge and was
9awarded a Purple Heart; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski worked as a civil servant for 40
11years as a barber at the Great Lakes Naval Base; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski was a member of the Knights of
13Columbus, Waukegan Council #731; he served as Grand Knight, 3rd
14Degree and was a member of the 4th degree; he was the Chairman
15of the tootsie roll drive for many years and was a past
16Chairman of the KC Wheelers; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski was preceded in death by his
18parents; his son, Victor James; his sisters, Jenny (Robert)
19Kochom and Barbara (Jack) Kilger; and his 2 beloved cats,
20Spencer and Rudzy; and

1    WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski is survived by his wife of 66
2years, Patricia; his daughter, Patricia; his sons, William,
3Gary (Cathy), and Kenneth (Esther); his granddaughter, Amber
4(Jeremy); his 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Susan Kaires
5(Gerald); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Paul Rudzinski, and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Paul Rudzinski as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
