SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Victor M. Ordaz, who passed away on
4September 6, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz was born on January 7, 1944 in
6Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico; his parents were Joseph Salvador
7and Maura Cecilia (nee Sanchez) Ordaz; he and his family moved
8to Chillicothe in 1957; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz served his country as a member of the
10United States Marine Corps; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz retired from Caterpillar Inc. after
1235 years of dedicated service; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz was preceded in death by his father;
14his brother, Robert; and his sister, Rebecca; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz is survived by his children, Tanya
16Ordaz, Noah S. Ordaz, and Leah C. Ordaz; his grandchildren,
17David Adams, Justin Adams, and Taryn Adams; his
18great-grandchildren, Maddux Fugitt and Ameillia R. Traver; his
19brothers, Salvador, Henry, and William; and his sisters, Irene,
20Sylvia, Ann, and Teresa; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Victor M. Ordaz; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Victor Ordaz as an expression of our
7sympathy.
