SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ramon M. Vasquez of Rock Island, who 
4passed away on September 6, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was born in Brownsville, Texas on 
6December 16, 1929 to Francisco and Candida (nee Medrano) 
7Vasquez; he married Guadalupe Flores in Texas on December 1, 
81951; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was employed at the former Eagles 
10Warehouse for over 27 years as a machine operator and in  
11produce receiving and distribution; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic 
13Church in Milan; he loved dancing, watching western movies, and 
14working in his yard; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez was preceded in death by his parents 
16and his brother, Fernando M. Vasquez; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, Ramon Vasquez is survived by his wife, Guadalupe; 
18his sons, Oscar Vasquez and David Vasquez; his grandson, Lance 
19(Cheryl) Vasquez; his granddaughter, Lorrie (Dale) Mickels; 
20his 6 great-grandchildren; his sister, Juanita Garcia; many

1nieces and nephews; and his special buddy "Pacco" the family 
2pet; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Ramon M. Vasquez, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Ramon Vasquez as an expression of 
10our deepest sympathy.
