SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Helen Ernell Clouden, who passed away on
4September 18, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Clouden was born on August 16, 1911 in
6Springfield; her parents were George Oliver and Eva E. Stewart;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Helen Clouden retired from Sears after many years
9of service; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Helen Clouden was a faithful member of Fellowship
11Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Clay
12Evans; she also participated in the choir, served as a Sunday
13school teacher, and helped out in any way she could; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Helen Clouden was preceded in death by her
15parents; her 3 sisters; her 3 brothers; her husband, Leonard
16Hubbard, Sr.; and her daughter, Amanda Anderson; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Helen Clouden is survived by her son, Leonard
18Hubbard, Jr.; her nephews, William Davis, Jr. and James Davis;
19her niece, Fado Lumpkin; her grandsons, Leonard (Tilma)
20Hubbard, III, Henry Porter, Anthony "Tony" (Deanne) Hubbard,

1and Richard Porter; her granddaughters, Sandra Renfro Sims,
2Cynthia M. Newman, Scotia J. Porter, Jenifer J. Porter, Lolita
3E. Porter, Rhoda Lomelino, Terrie (Anthony) Hammons, and Rhonda
4Hubbard; her 17 great-grandchildren; her 43
5great-great-grandchildren; her 15
6great-great-great-grandchildren; and her many cousins and
7friends; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
10family and friends, mourn the passing of Helen Ernell Clouden;
11and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Helen Clouden as an expression of
14our sympathy.
