SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Megan E. Sheppard of Auburn, who passed 
4away on August 18, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Megan Sheppard was born on October 11, 1994 in 
6Springfield; her parents were Scott and Tracy Gudgel Sheppard; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Megan Sheppard enjoyed spending time with her 
9family; her presence touched the lives of all she met; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Megan Sheppard was preceded in death by her 
11grandparents, Willard "Ozzie" and Nancy Sheppard; her cousin, 
12Carmeron Sheppard; her uncle, Jeff Sheppard; and her great-aunt 
13and great-uncle, Eugene and Doris Colvin; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, Megan Sheppard is survived by her parents; her 
15brothers, Joshua (Megan) Sheppard and Jacob Sheppard; her 
16grandparents, Butch and Connie Gudgel; her many aunts, uncles, 
17and cousins; and her special cousin, Hannah Gudgel; therefore, 
18be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her

1family and friends, mourn the passing of Megan E. Sheppard; and 
2be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to the family of Megan Sheppard as an expression of
