SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Esther M. Kallal, who passed away on 
4September 8, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Esther Kallal was born on September 8, 1943 in 
6Alton; her parents were Ralph and Ruth (nee McCauley) St. 
7Peters; she married Robert "Bobby" J. Kallal on September 19, 
81964 at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Shipman; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Esther Kallal was a homemaker by trade; she was a 
10member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Esther Kallal enjoyed helping her in-laws with 
12their strawberry fields, spending time with her family and 
13friends, and watching hummingbirds; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Esther Kallal was preceded in death by her 
15parents; her husband, Robert; and her brother, John Donald 
16"Donnie" St. Peters; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Esther Kallal is survived by her sons and a 
18daughter-in-law, Brian Kallal and Mariann Crane and Ed and 
19Carrie Kallal; her grandchildren, Billy Kallal, Shay Kallal, 
20Sean Kallal, Jordan Kallal, and Skylar (Krista) Kallal; her

1great-grandchildren, Brooke and Logan; her brothers, William 
2"Bill" St. Peters and Francis "Gene" St. Peters; and her many 
3nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Esther M. Kallal; and 
7be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Esther Kallal as an expression of 
10our sympathy.
