SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Michael Richard Alcorn, who passed away
4on September 15, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Alcorn was born on July 28, 1973 in
6Springfield; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Michael Alcorn served his country in the United
8States Army from 1991 to 1993; during his service, he was
9deployed to Panama and served as a scout; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Michael Alcorn was employed at the Illinois
11Department of Revenue for many years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Michael Alcorn was an enormously talented
13musician and artist who collected guitars, drums, and other
14objects of interest; he was also a member of the Abe Lincoln
15Gun Club; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Michael Alcorn is survived by his parents, Richard
17Alcorn and Rosario Amon; his sisters, Rose Alcorn and Kathleen
18Alcorn (Bernie Segatto); his brother, Bill Alcorn; his many
19beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his dog,
20Churchill; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael Richard
4Alcorn; and be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Michael Alcorn as an expression of
7our sympathy.
