SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lonnie Burns Hargis of Moline, who passed 
4away on September 21, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lonnie Hargis was born on March 8, 1937 in Wood 
6River; his parents were Judson Burns and Louise Greenling 
7Hargis; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lonnie Hargis proudly served in the United States 
9Marine Corps; and

  
 
10    WHEREAS, Lonnie Hargis worked as a welder for Plumbers and 
11Pipefitters Union Local 25 for many years; therefore, be it
  
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
14family and friends, mourn the passing of Lonnie Burns Hargis; 
15and be it further
  
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
17presented to the family of Lonnie Hargis as an expression of 
18our sympathy.
