SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William Robert Stanczak of Waukegan, who
4passed away on September 8, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William Stanczak was born on January 10, 1937 to
6Celia (nee Svedo) and Bruno W. Stanczak; he graduated from Holy
7Rosary Grade School, Waukegan High School, and Marquette
8University Law School; and
 
9    WHEREAS, William Stanczak was a practicing attorney in Lake
10County since 1960; and
 
11    WHEREAS, William Stanczak was a long-time member of the
12Glen Flora Country Club, the City Club, the Lake County Bar
13Association, and Marquette's "M" Club for former athletes; he
14was also a member of the Wilmot Mountain Ski School; he enjoyed
15skiing, golf, basketball, hunting, and playing with his dogs;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, William Stanczak is survived by his wife of 25
18years, Lynn Stanczak (nee Murray); his 5 children, Lisa
19Stanczak (Skip Lemon), Heidi Dyer (Timothy), Kristine
20Stanczak, Suzanne Stanczak, and Bill Stanczak (Jessica, nee
21Olive); his stepson, Joshua Neuwirth (Marylu, nee Pajente); his

110 grandchildren, Christian Lemon, Heidi Lemon, Gretchen
2Lemon, Neal Dyer, Phoebe Dyer, Gillian Dyer, Julia Elsmo,
3Sophie Elsmo, Olivia Stanczak, and Emily Stanczak; his
4step-grandchildren, Caleb Neuwirth and Cylla Neuwirth; his
5brother, Dr. Ronald (Patricia) Stanczak; his sister, Susan (the
6late David) Everett; his brother-in-law, Steve Murray; and
7numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, golf buddies, former law
8partners, business associates, and 3 very spoiled dogs, Joe
9Black, Maxine, and Tootchie; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12William Robert Stanczak, and extend our sincere condolences to
13his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of William Stanczak as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
