SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charlene O'Leary of Woodstock, who passed
4away on August 8, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Charlene O'Leary was born on June 21, 1925; her
6parents were Fred and Elizabeth Krohn; she married Leonard
7O'Leary on June 15, 1946; and
 
8    WHEREAS, A lifelong learner and an avid reader, Charlene
9O'Leary returned to school after her kids were grown to earn
10her associate's degree; she later worked as a bookkeeper for
11O'Leary Construction; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Charlene O'Leary was a member of St. Mary Church
13in Woodstock; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Charlene O'Leary enjoyed bingo, traveling with
15her family, a good garage sale, and flying kites with her
16grandchildren; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Charlene O'Leary was preceded in death by her
18husband, Leonard; her daughter, Linda; her sister, Donna Bell
19Glosson; and her brother, Fred Krohn; and

1    WHEREAS, Charlene O'Leary is survived by her brother,
2Patrick (Marcia) Krohn; her sister, Noreen Curulewski; her
3sons, Timothy (Carolyn) O'Leary and Michael (Debbie) O'Leary;
4her daughter, Tina (Mike McEvoy) O'Leary; her grandchildren,
5Liam (Kristen), Conor (Sarah), Brenna, Maggie, Kate, and
6Meghan; her 5 great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and
7nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
10family and friends, mourn the passing of Charlene O'Leary; and
11be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Charlene O'Leary as an expression of
14our sympathy.
