SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert E. Finger of Harvard, who passed 
4away on August 27, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was born in Melrose Park on 
6September 20, 1942 to Frank and  Florence Werner Finger; he 
7served in the United States Army Reserve during the Vietnam 
8War; he married Shirley Tolbert in Mt. Prospect on July 15, 
91972; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was a 40-year employee of Fastex, 
11where he worked as an injection moulder; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was a member of the McHenry County 
13Farm Bureau and enjoyed utilizing his tractor around his farm; 
14he was an expert at making unique things out of wood; he was a 
15devoted family man with a special place in his heart for his 
16grandchildren; he donated to various causes, including the 
17American Cancer Society and veterans organizations; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Finger was preceded in death by his son, 
19Jeffrey; his daughter, Wendy; and his son-in-law, Chuck Novak; 
20and

1    WHEREAS, Robert Finger is survived by his wife, Shirley; 
2his son, Cliff; his daughter, Peggy Noble; his brother, Roger 
3(Sue) Finger; his sister, Judy Pavwoski; his 4 grandchildren; 
4his 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; 
5therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
8Robert E. Finger, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
10further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to  the family of  Robert Finger as an expression of 
13our deepest sympathy.
