SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Leander "Lee" Hilgeman of Crystal Lake, 
4who passed away on August 25, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lee Hilgeman was born in Holland, Indiana on July 
63, 1923 to William and Louise (nee Meyer) Hilgeman; he served 
7in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II; and
  
 
  
8    WHEREAS, Lee Hilgeman was an avid Rotarian and was proud to 
9be a charter member in the Crystal Lake Club; he was active in 
10his church, Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Lee Hilgeman was preceded in death by his first 
12wife, Waundine; his second wife, Edna; his brother, Louis 
13Hilgeman; his sister, Selma; and his parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lee Hilgeman is survived by his wife, Helen; his  
15children, James (Carolyn) Hilgeman and Thomas (Mary) Hilgeman; 
16his grandchildren, Amy (Rob) Fowler, Kelly (Rick) Williams, 
17Erin Hilgeman, Denise (Jason) Bader, Alison (Jimmy) Park, Brad 
18(Beci) Hilgeman, Bethny Hilgeman, and Chad Hilgeman; his 15 
19great-grandchildren; and his 4 great-great-grandchildren;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Leander "Lee" Hilgeman, and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Lee Hilgeman as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
