SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Betty Jean Kugler of Marengo, who passed 
4away on August 30, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Betty Kugler was born on July 20, 1925 in Aurora; 
6her parents were Robert J. and Anna (nee Zeuch) Riley; she 
7married Roger Kugler on August 15, 1952; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Betty Kugler graduated from East Aurora High 
9School in 1943; in 1947, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in 
10Education from Northern Illinois University; in 1952, she 
11earned her Master's Degree in Education from the University of 
12Northern Colorado; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Betty Kugler was a faculty member at Marengo High 
14School for 11 years; after a 9-year period of raising her 
15family, she returned to work at Locust Junior High for 22 
16years; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Betty Kugler was preceded in death by her husband, 
18Roger; her daughter, Anna H. Kugler; and her brother, Frank 
19Riley; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Betty Kugler is survived by her daughter, Rogene

1M. (Art Morrical) Kugler, and her grandchildren, Jeffery R. 
2(Mayra Gutierrez) Morrical and Linda A. Morrical; therefore, be

4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Betty Jean Kugler; and 
7be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Betty Kugler as an expression of our 
10sympathy.
