SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lemuel Wiggins, who passed away on 
4September 28, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lemuel Wiggins was born on December 29, 1929 in 
6Shreveport, Louisiana; his parents were Leroy and Myrtis (nee 
7Faulkner) Wiggins, Sr.; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lemuel Wiggins served as a member of the United 
9States Army; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Lemuel Wiggins was employed at the United States 
11Postal Service in Chicago; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lemuel Wiggins was preceded in death by his 
13parents; his sisters, Selma Lee Wiggins and Mary Garcia; and 
14his brother, Leroy Wiggins, Jr.; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Lemuel Wiggins is survived by his sister, Ruth Mae 
16Garrett; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of Lemuel Wiggins; and be
