SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charlotte P. "Char" Tovar of Spring
4Grove, who passed away on September 26, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Char Tovar was born in Bamberg, Germany on August
612, 1948; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Char Tovar was employed at Jewel-Osco in Spring
8Grove and worked in the meat department; she was fondly called
9the "Candy Lady" and loved offering her services to those that
10visited her; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Char Tovar enjoyed going to Lake Geneva and
12looking at the water; she loved taking care of her family,
13watching old movies, listening to 40's music, and playing games
14on her Kindle; she was very proud of her new car; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Char Tovar was preceded in death by her parents;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Char Tovar is survived by her children, Gina
18(Paul) Huber, Teresa (Joseph) Buscemi, Michael Tovar, and
19Kayleigh Tovar; her 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Mia, Jacob,
20Giani, Anthony, and Max; and her life companion, Mike

1Steusloff; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Charlotte P. "Char" Tovar, and extend our sincere condolences
5to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
6it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Char Tovar as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
