SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of James Glen Bolen of Hebron, who passed 
4away on September 29, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Bolen was born on January 30, 1952 in 
6Beckley, West Virginia; his parents were Okey and Joanna (nee 
7Cadle) Bolen; he married Cheryl Halverson on November 7, 1987; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Bolen was a judge for numerous horse shows 
10in the Midwest; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, James Bolen was a member of the Northern Illinois 
12Hunter-Jumper Association, the Illinois Short Circuit, and the 
13United States Equestrian Federation; he was also a coin and 
14baseball card collector and enjoyed hunting and fishing; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Bolen was preceded in death by his parents; 
16his son, James G. Bolen, Jr.; and his brother, Terry Bolen; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, James Bolen is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his 
18daughter, Heather Bolen; his brother, Michael Bolen; and his 
19sisters, Karen (Doug) Kineman and Tobie (Brad) Allen; 
20therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of James Glen Bolen; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of James Bolen as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
