SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Janet Lynn Donehey, who passed away on
4September 25, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Janet Donehey was born on February 27, 1963 in
6Chicago; her parents were Terry and Nina (nee Cole) Atkiels;
7she married David R. Donehey on January 13, 1995; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Janet Donehey graduated from Oak Forest High
9School in 1981; she subsequently attended Southern Illinois
10University in Edwardsville, where she was a 3-sport athlete;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Janet Donehey was dedicated to serving and
13supporting the local community; she served as a book keeper for
14the Richmond-Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce and the Wauconda
15Chamber of Commerce; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Janet Donehey enjoyed crafting, softball,
17football, and motorcycles; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Janet Donehey was preceded in death by her
19grandparents; and

1    WHEREAS, Janet Donehey is survived by her loving husband,
2David; her children, Edward "Teddy", Terry, Timothy, Vivienne,
3Kiersten, and Rhyse; her grandsons, Jack and Joseph; her
4parents; her brothers, William (Margot) Atkiels and Michael
5(Ali) Atkiels; her sister, Jeannie (Tom) Emerson; her uncle,
6Sammie Cole; her aunt, Connie Cole; her nephews, Will, Mike,
7and Matt; and her many cousins; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
10family and friends, mourn the passing of Janet Lynn Donehey;
11and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Janet Donehey as an expression of
14our sympathy.
