SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert D. "Jabbo" Jablonski, who passed 
4away on October 17, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski was born on March 18, 1943 in 
6Waukegan; he was a resident of North Chicago and Waukegan his 
7entire life; he was a graduate of Holy Family School and North 
8Chicago High School; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski served his country as a member of 
10the United States Marine Corps; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski was an employee of Drake Concrete 
12and a member of the Carpenters Union; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski was an avid fisherman; he was a 
14member of the Knollwood Sportsman's Club, where he served on 
15the board numerous times and enjoyed taking care of the grounds 
16and planting flowers; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski is survived by his loving wife of 
1839 years, Marilyn Jablonski; his children, Lisa (Steve) 
19Delaney, Suzanne Jablonski, and Robert (Megan) Jablonski; his 
20grandchildren, Jazmine, Dylan, Connor, Hope, Lucas, and Leah;

1and his brothers, Richard and LeRoy Jablonski; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert D. "Jabbo" 
5Jablonski; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Robert Jablonski as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
