SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frankie Mae Miller, who passed away on
4September 28, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller was born on October 19, 1947 in
6Forrest City, Arkansas; her parents were Neomi and Frank
7Miller, Sr.; she and her family moved from Arkansas to Indiana,
8where they lived for a short time before relocating to Chicago;
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller was a graduate of Parkman
11Elementary and Dunbar Vocational Schools; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller worked at John Plane for a
13short time before moving on to the Treasury Department of
14Illinois Bell, where she worked in various positions, including
1526 years as a Supervisor and as an Assistant Engineer; she also
16worked at Amalgamated Bank of Chicago, the Office of the City
17Clerk of Chicago, and U.S. Bank; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller was a member of New Life House
19of Prayer under the leadership of Marcus Summers and Perfecting
20Life Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Timothy M.
21Jones, Sr.; and

1    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller enjoyed making jewelry,
2sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening with her mother,
3listening to the blues, dancing, watching the Chicago Bears,
4and spending time with her family; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller was preceded in death by her
6parents and her sister, Betty; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Frankie Mae Miller is survived by her children,
8Fentric Demetrius Miller, and Kimberly Anne (Ronny) White; her
9brother, Frank Miller; her grandchildren, Kenneth Derell
10Savage and Kam'Ron Amare White; her uncle, Noah McDaniel; and
11her many cousins and other relatives; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
14family and friends, mourn the passing of Frankie Mae Miller;
15and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Frankie Mae Miller as an expression
18of our sympathy.
