SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert A. "Bob" Sanders, Jr. of 
4Winchester, who passed away on October 7, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Sanders was born in Jerseyville on September 
62, 1967 to Robert Allen Sanders, Sr. and Patricia Ann Jackson 
7Owings; he graduated from Winchester High School, Lincoln Land 
8Community College,  and the University of Illinois at 
9Springfield with his bachelors degree in mathematics and a 
10teaching endorsement;  he received his masters degree in 
11educational leadership from the American College of Education; 
12he married Peggy Ann Welsh; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Bob Sanders taught math in Taylorville, 
14Winchester, and Jacksonville; he coached boys and girls track 
15and basketball and was the assistant football coach in 
16Winchester; he was currently Principal at AC Central Middle and 
17High School; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Bob Sanders was a member of St. Mark's Church in 
19Winchester; he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the 
20Illinois Principals Association; and
  
 
  
21    WHEREAS, Bob Sanders is survived by his wife, Peggy; his

1daughters, Mandy (Brian) Friedrich and Laura (Michael) 
2Williams; his brother, Mike Sanders; his grandsons, Devon 
3Williams and Bryce Friedrich; and his grandfather, Glen 
4Jackson; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Robert A. "Bob" Sanders, Jr., and extend our sincere 
8condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
9him; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to  the family of  Bob Sanders as an expression of our 
12deepest sympathy.
