| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Mary L. Whiteman of Springfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 18, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Whiteman was born on December 17, 1928 in |
| 6 | | Decatur; her parents were Harry J. and Eva Iolene (nee Hinton) |
| 7 | | Severns; she married Norman Vaughn Whiteman on March 22, 1946 |
| 8 | | in Decatur; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Mary Whiteman was preceded in death by her parents |
| 10 | | and her husband, Norman; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Mary Whiteman is survived by her children, Lynette |
| 12 | | (Nelson) Mosley and Vaughn (fiancee, Rosemary Burger-Erickson) |
| 13 | | Whiteman, and her grandchildren, Tracy (David) Prosser, Erin |
| 14 | | (Kevin) Nowlan, Kari Whiteman, Brok Whiteman, and Paige |
| 15 | | Whiteman; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her |
| 18 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary L. Whiteman; and |
