SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Clarabelle "Clara" Mann of Decatur, who 
4passed away on November 5, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Clara Mann was born in Shelby County on February 
627, 1936 to William and Waunitta M. (nee Landers) Lane; she 
7graduated from Cowden Community High School in 1954 and  married 
8Bobbie G. Mann on September 29, 1973; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Clara Mann was the Decatur Township Supervisor for 
103 terms; she was a member of the Democratic Party of Macon 
11County and the Township Officials of Illinois; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Clara Mann was preceded in death by her parents 
13and her 2 brothers; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Clara Mann is survived by her husband of 42 years, 
15Bobbie; her son, Scott A. (Michelle) Muth; her 2 stepchildren, 
16Scott Mann and Jennifer Mann; her  granddaughter, Heather M. 
17(Paul) Hodges; her  step-granddaughter, Lindsey Reidel; her 2 
18great-granddaughters, Presley and Elle Hodges; and her 
19caregivers, Tammy Butler and Bobbie Jean Schaal; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Clarabelle "Clara" Mann, and extend our sincere condolences to 
4her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Clara Mann as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
