SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Rose C. Verga of McHenry, who passed away 
4on November 2, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rose Verga was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on July 
68, 1947 to Joseph and Josephine Cammarata Verga; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Rose Verga worked as a food server at the Cozy 
8Cottage family restaurant in Volo for over 20 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Rose Verga was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and 
10loved old western movies and T.V. shows; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Rose Verga is preceded in death by her parents;  
12her husband of 11 years, Frank Adams; her sister, Mary Verga; 
13and Joe Ernest; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Rose Verga is survived by her 3  sisters, Jennie 
15Verga, Kathy (Joseph) Purtell, and Anna (Ron) Looze; her 2 
16brothers, Sam (Roseann) Verga and  Joseph (Melissa) Verga; her 4 
17nieces, Mary, Meghan, Rachel, and Michelle; her 4 nephews, 
18Nicholas, Joey, Jr., Christopher, and Michael; her aunt, Judith 
19Cammarata; her great-nieces, nephews, and cousins; her 
20companion, Richard Ernest; her special friends, Virginia, Sue,

1Karen, and Candy;  and many other loving friends and family; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Rose C. Verga, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Rose Verga as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
