SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Nicholas R. "Nick" Szymczak of Johnsburg,
4who passed away on October 23, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Nick Szymczak was born in Chicago on August 27,
61942 to Samuel and Lucille (nee Kuffel) Szymczak; he attended
7Lane Tech High School, where he played football and was named
8the All-City full back; he served in the United States Army as
9an aircraft mechanic from 1965 to 1967; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Nick Szymczak was a computer programmer in the
11printing industry for over 25 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Nick Szymczak enjoyed boating and spending time
13with his family; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Nick Szymczak was preceded in death by his
15parents; his wife, Marlene; and his granddaughter, Abigail; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Nick Szymczak is survived by his 2 children, Brian
17Szymczak and Nicole (Aaron) Boss; his 4 grandchildren, Kuen,
18Kaden, Jordan, and Aubrey; his 2 brothers, Valentine (the late
19Anita) Szymczak and Daniel Szymczak; and his sister, Joyce
20(Robert) Sutay; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Nicholas R. "Nick" Szymczak, and extend our sincere condolences
4to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
5it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Nick Szymczak as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
