SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edward J. Sychta of Grayslake, who passed
4away on November 14, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Sychta was born in Chicago on July 9, 1923
6to Joseph and Lottie (nee Urbanski) Sychta; he served in the
7military during World War II; he married Victoria on January
828, 1950 in Chicago; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Edward Sychta was a long-standing President of the
10Vernon Hills Seniors Organization; he enjoyed going to the
11casino and being with his family; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Edward Sychta was preceded in death by his
13parents; his brother, Steve; and his sister, Bernice; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Edward Sychta is survived by his wife of 65 years,
15Victoria; his children, Susan (Martin) Gallegos-Sychta,
16Margaret (Kimbrough) Clarke, Mercedes (Jerome) Balcer, and
17James (Sharon) Sychta; his grandchildren, Nina (Alex) Larson,
18Scott, Madeline, Cassandra, Claire, and Trevor; and his
19great-grandson, Colton; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Edward J. Sychta, and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Edward Sychta as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
