SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Shane H. Laycock of Bethalto; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Shane Laycock was born in Seminole, Oklahoma  on 
5February 21, 2004 to Tammy (nee Battles) Laycock; and
  
 
  
6    WHEREAS, Shane Laycock enjoyed attending House of Victory 
7Church, Kids Club, stuffed animals, climbing trees, and playing 
8outside, most always without wearing shoes; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Shane Laycock was preceded in death by his 
10great-grandparents; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Shane Laycock is survived by his mother, Tammy; 
12his grandparents, Barbara Arnett and Darrell Battles; his 
13siblings, Brandon "Bubby" Newell, Josh Newell and fiancee, 
14Katie Jackson, and her daughter, Emma, Caleb Newell, Travis 
15Newell, and Wil Laycock; Uncle Darren Battles and his wife; 
16Aunt Lisa Morris; Great-Aunt Patty Swearingin; Great-Aunt 
17Vickie and her husband, Wendell Heindricks; Great-Uncle Bob and 
18his wife, Edna Battles; his cousins, Bob and Sam Battles, Wendy 
19and Mike Cauley, Nathan and Nolan Cauley, and Beth and Nabil 
20Sahuri and their children, Adam and Rainey; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Shane H. Laycock, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Shane Laycock as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
