SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lester E. White of Rock Island, who 
4passed away on November 6, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lester White was born on June 27, 1956 in Moline; 
6his parents were Richmond and Mary Jo (nee Weber) White; he 
7married Christyne Dzekunskas on January 7, 1978 in Orion; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lester White was a United States Air Force 
9veteran; he also served with the National Guard; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Lester White retired from the Rock Island National 
11Cemetery after 33 years of service; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lester White was a member of Beulah Presbyterian 
13Church, the QC Missing Persons Network, and Scott's Tennessee 
14Battery Civil War Reenactors; he enjoyed reading, attending 
15Iowa Hawkeyes Wrestling events, attending auctions, and 
16spending time with his grandchildren; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Lester White was preceded in death by his parents; 
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, Lester White is survived by his wife, Christyne;

1his daughters, Mellissa (Michael) Hendrickx, Megan White, and 
2Ashleigh White; his grandchildren, Nathan, Madison, Cloe, 
3Zane, Mason, Joseph, and Brylee; his sisters, Penny (Ed) 
4Peterson and Carol Schoening; his brother, Kenneth White; and 
5his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Lester E. White; and 
9be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Lester White as an expression of our 
12sympathy.
