SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  James H. Clark of Colona, who passed away 
4on November 15, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Clark was born on November 26, 1944 in 
6Atlantic City, New Jersey; his parents were James H. and 
7Mildred (nee Ludwig) Clark; he married Marguerite A. Bantya on 
8July 29, 1967 in New Jersey; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, After graduating from high school, James Clark 
10joined the United States Coast Guard, where he proudly served 
11for 30 years in numerous locations; he also served in the Army 
12Corps of Engineers in Rock Island for 18 years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, James Clark collected light houses; he enjoyed 
14working around the house and riding his motorcycle; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Clark was preceded in death by his parents 
16and his brother; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, James Clark is survived by his wife, Marguerite; 
18his daughter, Julie (Paul) Dodds; his son, Joshua Clark; his 
19granddaughters, Katlyn Pierce and Christine Clark; and his 
20sisters, Judith Glick and Joanna Idler; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of James H. Clark; and be 
4it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of James Clark as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
