SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert D. Kollman of East Moline, who
4passed away on November 17, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Kollman was born in Muscatine, Iowa on
6February 9, 1931 to Joseph F. and Anna G. Reikert Kollman; he
7served in the United States Army during the Korean War and
8married Dorothy M. Horn; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Kollman worked as an assembler for I.H.;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Kollman was a member of Christ the King
12Catholic Church; he was a member of the East Moline VFW and the
13Christian Motorcycle Association; he enjoyed spending time
14drinking coffee at Porky's and McDonald's; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Kollman was preceded in death by his
16parents; his 2 sisters; his one brother; and his beloved pugs,
17Sunny and Buffy; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Kollman is survived by his wife, Dorothy;
19his daughters, Marie (Musah) Mills and Amy Kollman; his
20stepchildren, Ginny (Gene Taets) Manske, Chris (Lisa) Hayes,

1Laurie Hayes, and Jan (Chris) LaRoche; his 20 grandchildren;
2and his 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Robert D. Kollman, and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Robert Kollman as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
