SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Brian H. Jasper of Milan, who passed away 
4on November 19, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Brian Jasper was born on October 22, 1953 in Rock 
6Island; his parents were Malvern and Frances Reinhart Jasper; 
7he married Vicki Schaecher on May 26, 1973 in Rock Island; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Brian Jasper proudly served as a member of the 
9United States Navy; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Brian Jasper was an iron worker for Iron Workers 
11Local 111 in Rock Island, where he retired in October of 2014 
12after many years of service; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Brian Jasper was preceded in death by his father 
14and a brother, Greg Jasper; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Brian Jasper is survived by his wife, Vicki; his 
16mother; his children, Amy Groene, Christopher Jasper, Laura 
17(David) Otten, and Steven Jasper; his grandchildren, Lauren 
18Groene and Liam Otten; and his siblings, Kathy Jasper, Beth 
19(Rick) Ater, and Mark (Shiela) Jasper; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Brian H. Jasper; and 
4be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Brian Jasper as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
