| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Steven Craig Zarske of Rock Island, who |
| 4 | | passed away on November 22, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Steven Zarske was born in Galesburg on January 7, |
| 6 | | 1947 to Newland and Carol Zarske; he served in the United |
| 7 | | States Air Force and married Bonnie Hornback on December 6, |
| 8 | | 1970; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Steven Zarske was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, |
| 10 | | Bears, and Bulls and enjoyed spending time with his family; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Steven Zarske is survived by his wife of 45 years, |
| 12 | | Bonnie; his daughters, Tina Harris, Autumn Dzekunskas, Carol |
| 13 | | (Christopher) Lester, and Stephanie Zarske; his grandchildren, |
| 14 | | Wesley, Jacob, Courtney, Melissa, Brandon, Nathan, Natalie, |
| 15 | | Drew, Jaida, Bryce, and Blake; his great-grandson, Karter; his |
| 16 | | sister, Nancy (Tom) Gawthrop; and his brother, Tom (Robbie) |

| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 20 | | Steven Craig Zarske, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 21 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
