SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  John T. Lowery of Joliet, who passed away 
4on November 13, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Lowery was born in Joliet and raised in 
6Lockport; he lived in Joliet for the past 30 years; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, John Lowery was a proud employee of the City of 
8Joliet Water Department, where he was a devoted and 
9hard-working employee; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, John Lowery was a member of St. Dennis Church in 
11Lockport; and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Lowery was an avid sports fan; he was also 
13extremely handy and enjoyed helping everyone; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, John Lowery was preceded in death by his father, 
15Richard Lowery, and his sister, Maureen Lowery; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, John Lowery is survived by his daughters, Lauren 
17(Jeff) Duncan and Samantha (Steven) Reese; his mother, Mary Lou 
18McCabe; his brother, Richard Lowery; his sister, Mary Beth 
19(Henry C.) Meader; his grandchildren, Bryce and Shea Duncan and

1Daniel and Patton Reese; and his many nieces, nephews, and 
2friends; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of John T. Lowery; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of John Lowery as an expression of our 
9sympathy.
