| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Robert G. Merritt of Deerfield, who |
| 4 | | passed away on November 12, 2015; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Merritt served proudly in the United States |
| 6 | | Navy during World War II; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Robert Merritt was preceded in death by his wife, |
| 8 | | Barbara "Bobbie", and his niece, Joan North; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Robert Merritt was the loving father of Robin |
| 10 | | (Steven) Meyer; the cherished grandfather of Kelsey and |
| 11 | | Courtney; the adored great-uncle of Michael North and Cindy |
| 12 | | (Rod) Boston; and the great-great uncle of Reese North and |
| 13 | | Hannah and Hailey Boston; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
| 16 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert G. Merritt; and |
| 17 | | be it further
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to the family of Robert Merritt as an expression of |
| 20 | | our sympathy.
