| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Melvin S. Mayer of Deerfield; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Melvin Mayer was the beloved husband of 67 years |
| 5 | | of Lorraine "Lorrie" (nee Oppenheim); the loving father of Gary |
| 6 | | (Janice) Mayer, Carol (Vanessa McLean) Mayer, and Kathy (Bruce) |
| 7 | | Skinner; and the adored grandpa of Rachel Skinner; therefore, |
| 8 | | be it

| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
| 11 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Melvin S. Mayer; and |
| 12 | | be it further

| 13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 14 | | presented to the family of Melvin Mayer as an expression of our |
