SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Marsha L. Streeter of North Chicago, who 
4passed away on November 21, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marsha Streeter was born on May 31, 1925 in 
6Sweetwater, Tennessee; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Marsha Streeter joined the Trinity African 
8Methodist Episcopal Church of Waukegan under the leadership of 
9Reverend Robert Thomas; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Marsha Streeter was a member of Shawall Court No. 
114, Daughters of Isis, where she was a Past Commander; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Marsha Streeter is survived by her daughter, 
13Angelica Douglass; her grandson, Paul W. (Dominique) Howlett, 
14III; her special friend, Cindy; her great-grandchildren, Paul 
15W. Howlett, IV, Kamai C., Marelyn G., and Alex W. Howlett; her 
16many cousins; her sister, Mary Louise Jackson; her nephew, 
17Hurley Lewis Wells, Jr.; and her dear friends, Virgie Zackery, 
18Billie Washington, Ella Williams, Mrs. Ernest Ford, and Paul W. 
19Howlett, Jr.; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Marsha L. Streeter;

5presented to the family of Marsha Streeter as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
