SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Vincent T. Ferrara, who passed away on 
4November 28, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Vincent Ferrara was born on November 12, 1927 in 
6Triggiano Bari, Italy; his parents were Donato and Madia (nee 
7Carbonara) Ferrara; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Vincent Ferrara was a wedding photographer and the 
9owner of 2 studios in Chicago; he later became a computer 
10program instructor at the Copernicus Senior Center in Chicago; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Vincent Ferrara enjoyed playing tennis, dancing, 
13learning languages, and humor; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Vincent Ferrara is preceded in death by his son, 
15Daniel Ferrara, and his parents; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Vincent Ferrara is survived by his wife, Jewel 
17Gardner-Ferrara; his children, Marietta (Dr. Rafath) Rasheed, 
18Regina Pavone, Theresa Beth (Thomas) Peluse, and Deborah (John) 
19Adair; his grandchildren, Giancarlo, Nikhat, Javid, Anthony, 
20Justin, Jessica, Michael, Thomas, and Saige; his

1great-grandchildren, Nargis, Mariam, Isabella, and Elena; his 
2sister, Theresa Ferrara; and his many cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Vincent T. Ferrara; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Vincent Ferrara as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
