SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Warren A. Palmiter, who passed away on 
4December 20, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Warren Palmiter was a 41-year resident of 
6Romeoville; he was a Romeoville Police Officer and Detective 
7and retired in 1999 after many years of service; he also served 
8as the Liaison Officer for Romeoville High School and was very 
9active in many community organizations; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Warren Palmiter is preceded in death by his 
11brother, Ronald McManis, and his parents; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Warren Palmiter is survived by his loving wife, 
13Linda Palmiter; his children, Scott (Gigi) Palmiter, Diane 
14Palmiter, Mark (Kerry) Palmiter, and Kurt (Carrie) Palmiter; 
15his siblings, Pamela Palmiter, Ellen Smith, Martin (Sharon) 
16McManis, Barbara (Lucio) Gomez, and Donald McManis; his 
17grandchildren, Kieran, Caoilinn, Aron, Isaac, Logan, Cameron, 
18and Marissa; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
21family and friends, mourn the passing of Warren A. Palmiter;

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to the family of Warren Palmiter as an expression of 
4our sympathy.
