SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Randolph S. "Randy" Minich of Marengo, 
4who passed away on December 5, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Randy Minich was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 
619, 1960 to Larry Minich and Doris "Joann" (nee Grimmett) 
7Scott; he graduated from Dundee Crowne High School in 1978 and 
8enlisted in the United States Army in 1982, serving as an Army 
9Combat Medic; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Randy Minich moved to Marengo in 1989 and worked 
11as a butcher at Wisteds for 10 years; he then worked for Omni 
12Commercial as a Union Laborer, retiring in 2015; and
  
 

  
13    WHEREAS, Randy Minich is survived by his wife, Laura (nee 
14McAuly) Minich; his daughter, Alexandra Minich; his son, Joshua 
15Minich; his stepson, Luke Brandt; his parents, Larry Minich and 
16Joann Scott; his brothers, Rory and Larry John Minich; and his 
17sister, Laura Jacobs; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Randolph S. "Randy" Minich, and extend our sincere condolences 
21to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
